As a military spouse, I was blessed to not only travel the world, but to live in some pretty awesome locations. While living in Hawaii, I traveled to all five main islands. I've seen the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, watched whales breaching, seen the twin waterfalls from Fantasy Island, driven to the top of a volcano and seen snow, and eaten kalua pork cooked in the ground.

While living in Italy, I took a cruise to Turkey and Greece. I've walked where Paul and Silas were imprisoned and sat where Paul preached. At the Cliffs of Mohr in Ireland, I was terrified that I was going to be blown off into the water 700 feet below. I've ridden a double-decker bus through London, seen priceless works of art in Paris, traipsed through the Christmas markets in Germany, and wandered the streets drinking gluhwein in the Czech Republic in Cesky Krumlov.

As an adoptive Mama, I've walked through the Forbidden City, climbed the Great Wall, and walked across Tiananmen Square. As a short term missionary, I served communities all over Ethiopia.
I've cruised the Bahamas, driven to Toronto to see the Hockey Hall of Fame, and crossed the border to Tijuana.
I've lived in Maine, which is more beautiful than I could have imagined and possibly colder, too. Spent more years in Rhode Island than I care to count and lived in every town on Aquidneck Island.

For years I've planned trips for people just for fun. When my children were small we would do Disney at least once a year and it has been the source of many amazing encounters. Ask me about the time Johnny Depp had his arm around me!
Now that my military life days are over and my children are mostly self-sufficient, I get to do what I love....travel and share my experiences by helping others do the same.
