Top 5 Quick Service Locations at the Walt Disney World Resort

Be sure to sit back, buckle up, keep all hands in feet inside the vehicle, and prepare to talk about one of my favorite subjects. FOOD! You can ask anyone around me, I love food, and I love trying new cuisines and experiences. Today I am going to discuss my personal top five quick service places to eat at the Walt Disney World Resort. The resort is full of exciting places, and beautifully themed restaurants for everyone to enjoy. The good news is; you do not have to pay a fortune to eat there!

I know you must be thinking that if the food is "cheap" it won't taste good, and it is going to be just like every other theme park food. That my friend, is where you are sadly mistaken. Of course, if your heart desires, you can have all of the basic burgers, chicken nuggets, and fries you desire. On the other hand, if you want different options that could include healthier, better quality, and more variety, these following five are the places to go. This does not mean they are the only places to eat, but they are favorites of mine.

1. Be Our Guest

On a personal basis, I would have to say that Be Our Guest is not only one of the best themed Quick Service options, but it is also one of the best-themed restaurants resort-wide. Themed after the Beast's castle from "Beauty and the Beast", this place puts guests right in the heart of the film. It has several different dining rooms included the Ball Room and the Rose Room. Breakfast and dinner are also served here, but they are by reservation only. Be sure to come during lunch and try the Croque Monsieur. It is a fantastic grilled sandwich of carved ham, Gruyere cheese, and Bechamel. It is something you have to try at least once!

2. Earl of Sandwich

While this place gets plenty of business for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I would have to say it is a hidden gem of the Walt Disney World Resort. Most people just travel to the parks and forget about the food at Disney Springs. This place serves a great variety of sandwiches, and the best part is they are all under $7! A personal favorite would have to be the Holiday Turkey. It has turkey, cornbread stuffing, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, and mayonnaise. Ordering that with a cup of soup only sets you back $10. Next time you are at the resort, bu sure to check it out!

3. Harambe Market

As we journey to the Animal Kingdom, we venture into a place new for 2016 called the Harambe Market. This fantastic Quick Service option is located in the Africa section and is a must for anyone visiting the park. The Beef and Pork Sausage is basically an African Corn Dog, and the All-Beef Gyro Flatbread is to die for! To add to this, you should wash whatever you eat down with the African drink, Bibo.

4. Landscape of Flavors

Over at one the most popular Value Resorts, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, we find a fantastic Quick Service food court. The beautiful thing about this place is it has something for everyone! My wife enjoys their Create-Your-Own Pasta while I almost always get the Tandoori Chicken Thighs that comes with Naan Bread and two sides. I must recommend that you get the acorn squash with your chicken thighs. Whether you are staying there or somewhere else, be sure to check this out and tour the Resort while you are there.

5. Sunshine Seasons

The last place I will recommend is the Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion at EPCOT. Just like the Landscape of Flavors, this place is a food court that has something for everyone. The Mongolian Beef is a personal favorite.

That concludes this list. Some honorable mentions would have to include Riverside Mill Food Court (Port Orleans Riverside), Katsura Grill (EPCOT), La Cantina de San Angel (EPCOT), Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe (Animal Kingdom), and finally, Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie (EPCOT). As you can see there is one theme park in particular that I love for the food options.
