Mellissa Stanturf was born & raised in the hills of Northern California and was always referred to by friends & family as the curious adventure type.

At the age of twenty eight, Mellissa married her husband who was serving in the United States military. It was while her husband was serving that Mellissa gained a love for travel, the arts, and the cultures of other countries.

Since boarding her first plane at the age of twenty six, (to take her two children to Disneyland) Mellissa has been to over twenty two countries. She has lived in Europe for three years, lived in Hawaii for two years, traveled to five Disney parks- to include Disney Tokyo, Disneyworld, Disneyland, Aulani, & Disney Paris, been on 4 cruises with 6 more on the books, and had previously traveled in her RV for two years across the United States.
