My aspirations to become a travel agent were fueled by seeking ways to explore the world with my two boys as a single mother. I wanted to learn all of the ins and outs to get around safely without missing the big attractions as well as the subtle and unique beauty that all destinations offer. Planning travel can be quite daunting so I decided to take a big bite and become an expert! I graduated Veterinary Medical School In St Georges Grenada 2007. This experience allowed me to be fully immersed into the fabric of the caribbean. I stayed for all school breaks and used the opportunity to island hop throughout the West Indies. I fell so in love there was a time I was sure I would relocate there permanently. Alas, I chose a different path. I joined the Army Veterinary Corps as a reservist in 2010. I now make frequent trips to South America and the Caribbean for the Dept of Defense. I consider myself somewhat of an ambassador for our country. This position allows me the unique opportunity to connect with the local people and learn about their culture. Often my most memorable locations are tightly bound to phenomenal local cuisine, a beautiful habitat or endemic species. I also have experience traveling to further destinations such as Ireland, Fiji and multiple cruises. Although I am originally from New England, I have resided in Miami Fl for many years. Learning about both Cruising and all the parks in Orlando happens without effort as both are so accessible here! When I am not helping people live their best life, I own and operate an in-home pet euthanasia business. Becoming a travel agent has helped provide a great balance in my life. I feel a great sense of purpose for both professions. I take a lot of pride in helping people design their unique vacation or exploration!
