Hi, my name is Amanda, and I am from Maine, where I live with my husband and two kids. I went to college in Boston at Wentworth Institute of Technology, where I studied Architecture. My professional background started in Architecture and Construction, and my love for travel has pulled me in the direction of travel planning! My experience in a leadership role as a Project Coordinator has required skills that translate to running a successful travel planning business, such as detail-oriented planning, time management, and organization. With these skills, I am able to help you select the perfect destination based on your family's preferences, arrange transportation and accommodations that fit your needs, and even plan out extra excursions and experiences!
I have always loved to travel. I grew up loving our family trips to Disney World, and have recently rediscovered that love when we started taking our kids. We are on our way to making a tradition out of an annual family vacation to Walt Disney World! Outside of my Disney travel, my other travel experience includes 5 Cruises throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean, a semester abroad in Berlin, where I visited a half a dozen or more other European countries, as well as separate family trips to Germany, and the UK.
While I am relatively new to the travel planning profession, I have ample experience planning my own extended family vacations, as well as helping friends navigate the details of their trip, by being a walking encyclopedia for their Disney questions, helping them book dining and experience reservations, and giving them tips and tricks to help navigate the parks, all of which, I found very fulfilling and rewarding!
